Why Caventra
What Sets Our Approach Apart
An unhurried, reading-led format suited to adults who want depth without pressure.
Reading-Led Format
Materials are distributed in advance. Sessions are discussion-led, not lecture-heavy. Participants arrive having read and reflect together.
Small, Considered Cohorts
Each cohort is limited to 8–12 participants, keeping discussions focused and allowing each person time to speak and be heard.
Strictly Educational
No financial advice, no product recommendations. Caventra exists to build vocabulary and frameworks, not to sell or recommend financial products.
Singapore-Specific Content
All materials focus on Singapore's structures — CPF Life, SRS, household planning vocabulary — relevant to the local context in which participants actually live.
Unhurried Rhythm
Programmes are designed with the pace of thoughtful adult learning in mind — no rush, no pressure, space for re-reading and reflection between sessions.
Quality Materials Included
Each programme includes well-produced printed materials — reading binders, workbooks, summary cards — designed for ongoing personal reference after the programme ends.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these programmes for?
Caventra programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above living in Singapore. The Late-Career Reading Programme is specifically suited to participants aged 48 to 62. The Saving Habits Workshop and Household Finance Reading Circle are open to adults aged 40 and above. No prior financial knowledge is required or assumed.
Do these programmes offer financial advice?
No. Caventra is an education provider, not a financial adviser. All programmes are strictly educational in scope. No advice, product recommendations, or investment guidance is offered at any point. Participants who require regulated financial advice are encouraged to consult a licensed financial adviser separately.
How does the reading-led format work?
Each chapter or session material is distributed to participants in advance. When the cohort meets — weekly for the ten-week programme, or across two days for the weekend workshop — the session time is devoted to discussion of the reading rather than to lectures. Participants are encouraged to annotate their materials and bring questions from their own reading.
How large are the cohorts?
Cohort sizes are kept small by design. The Late-Career Reading Programme admits 12 participants. The Saving Habits Workshop cohorts are 8 to 12 participants. The Household Finance Reading Circle cohorts are 10 participants. This size allows for genuine discussion rather than a classroom presentation format.
Where are sessions held?

What is included in the programme fee?
